Water Heater Replacement in Arlington & Southside
RiverCity Plumbing replaced a water heater in Arlington & Southside with a new 50-gallon Bradford White electric unit. We also installed a drain pan, an expansion tank and new shut-off valves, and hauled away the old heater.
The problem
A homeowner in Arlington & Southside needed the water heater in their garage replaced. It sits next to the home’s air handler.
What we did
- Removed the old water heater and hauled it away for disposal.
- Installed a new 50-gallon Bradford White electric water heater.
- Set the new heater in a drain pan to catch water if the tank or a fitting ever leaks.
- Mounted an expansion tank on top of the heater to take up the extra volume as water heats.
- Installed new shut-off valves so the water supply to the heater can be turned off at the unit.
The result
The garage now has a new 50-gallon Bradford White electric water heater sitting in a drain pan, with an expansion tank on top and new shut-off valves. The old unit is gone.
